As a passionate Osteopath and Personal Trainer, Amber loves working closely with people to help their bodies function happily and optimally. She has a holistic approach to treatment and likes to determine the cause of pain rather than treat the symptoms, find the best resolution, and prevent recurrence.
Amber's care is patient centred and she enjoys treating by using soft and deep tissue, mobilisation, manipulations, dry needling, cupping and balancing techniques. Her attentive treatment approach also considers goal setting, and exercise rehabilitation.
Amber is always wanting to advance her clinical knowledge and has further interests in natural medicines, biomechanics and functional patterns, paediatric and women's health. Her desire to help others means she enjoys treating people of various ages, and has completed further education in pregnancy and paediatric treatments, headaches and migraines, and assessing and treating chronic low back pain.
Amber appreciates the capabilities of the human body and has experience in various sports including martial arts, gymnastics, powerlifting, completing marathons, and likes to embark on outdoor sports with her husband. Outside of work, Amber mostly loves spending time with people, in the local community, and learning different crafts.
Amber graduated with a double degree in a Bachelor of Health Science, and a Masters of Applied Science (Osteopathy), from RMIT University in Melbourne, Victoria.
Amber is planning on going on maternity leave in at the end of Jan/Feb 2025.
