Ashleigh Gillett, Osteopath

ASHLEIGH GILLETT

OSTEOPATH

Bachelor Clinical Science (Osteopathic Studies & Human Structure and Function)
Masters of Osteopathic Medicine

Ashleigh completed her five years of osteopathic training at Southern Cross University in Lismore, graduating with a Bachelor of Clinical Science and a Masters of Osteopathic Medicine. Originally from the Ballina Shire, Ashleigh has returned to the Northern Rivers after living and working in Brisbane for 5 years.

She has enjoyed the wide scope of injuries and conditions she was exposed to during her time working in the city, but looks forward to being back in a community environment. She is a committed and compassionate Osteopath who enjoys treating a wide array of patients and complaints from all ages.

She has a particular interest in treating womens health, especially during the pre and post natal period, but also enjoys treating all patients with their usual aches and pains that come from daily activities; from acute to chronic conditions, to office workers and the elderly.

During your treatment with Ashleigh, she will tailor your consult and management plan to accomodate your individual needs. Her technique choices may include soft tissue massage, mobilisation, manipulation, myofascial release, gentle more indirect techniques, and/or dry needling. Ashleigh appreciates the interconnectedness of the body, and how one area can influence the other and treats her patients with this in mind. She was drawn to osteopathy to help treat patients with their symptoms and to most importantly help find the cause to their complaint.

Outside of osteopathy, Ashleigh loves to spend time with her husband and 2 children, socialising with family and friends, drinking good coffee, travelling and spending time at the beach.
