PRINCIPLE OSTEOPATH & CLINIC DIRECTOR
Bachelor Clinical Science (Osteopathic Studies & Human Structure and Function)
Masters of Osteopathic Medicine
Growing up on the far north coast of NSW, Josh was interested in health and biomechanics from an early age. His passion for osteopathy began after experiencing the health benefits firsthand. He enjoys surfing, weight training, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Josh holds a Bachelor of Clinical Science (Human Structure and Function & Osteopathy) as well as a Master of Osteopathy. As well as working in private clinical practice, he has instructed at Southern Cross University and tutored human anatomy in the wet lab.
He has also completed further studies in cranial osteopathy and the effects breathing has on postural integrity, headaches, neck and back pain. This includes a thorough understanding of the psychosomatic aspects of dysfunctional breathing in relation to stress and anxiety. He has also done further studies in pregnancy, postpartum and paediatrics.
Josh has a strong interest in the treatment of those suffering from stress, anxiety, chronic pain and sports injuries as well as children and pregnancy. His treatments are tailored to each patient, whilst his practical and thorough advice will ensure all questions and concerns are answered and explained. His treatments are a combined approach of osteopathic manual therapy techniques, dry needling and osteopathy in the cranial field, preferring a gentler approach for significant change.
