Naturopath & Acupuncturist

BA BHSc (Naturopathy) MAppSc (Acupuncture)

Kathleen is a naturopath and acupuncturist, who has been in practice since 2009. Originally from Brisbane, she has lived and worked in her hometown, then in Sydney for almost 10yrs, and is now based here in the Northern Rivers. Kath has worked in integrative / collaborative clinics throughout her career and feels passionate about the benefits with this type of care. Her areas of special interest and experience in practice include women's and reproductive health, fertility, pregnancy and postpartum care, anxiety and stress-related conditions.

Kathleen is a former Director and Vice-President of the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA) and a professional member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA). She is passionate about knowledge-sharing: teaching naturopathic, nutrition and herbal medicine degree students; contributing to academic journals and clinical texts; and presenting at both professional conferences and public festivals on naturopathy, acupuncture and preventative health. She believes that the better people can understand their own health, the more empowered they will be to make positive long-term change.

Outside of practice, Kathleen enjoys good food, spending time in nature, exercising outdoors and is kept busy with her young family.
