Marsha graduated with a Masters of Osteopathy at Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast. She has a strong interest in seeing osteopathy grow as a widely used health care modality for all, delivering effective treatment and health education to address stress and lifestyle related health concerns. She is also interested in how to best treat the hypermobile patient and is a big advocate of encouraging patients in self-directed care through movement, strength, mobility and lifestyle.
Marsha has completed additional training in visceral osteopathy, pelvic pain, dizziness, shoulder pain and dry needling.
She uses both direct techniques such as myofascial release, joint articulation and manipulation, as well as very gentle, indirect techniques to help balance tissue tension within the body.
Marsha is also an accredited yoga teacher and incorporates this in her management of patients. She is also a SIRA approved practitioner and is able to see patients for worker’s compensation cases. Marsha is available at the Alstonville clinic.
