CLINIC DIRECTOR
Diploma Remedial Massage
Bachelor Clinical Science (Osteopathic Studies & Human Structure and Function)
Since moving to the Northern Rivers from Sydney as a single mum (to a gorgeous then six year old), to pursue her dream of becoming an Osteopath in 2012, she has grown Northern Rivers Health alongside her husband to incorporate twenty two staff members across three clinic locations. As the recipient of the Southern Cross University Alumni Scholarship for 2015 & 2016, Sharni was dedicated to her studies and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Clinical Science (Osteopathic Studies & Human Structure and Function) before going on to a further two years of study in the Master of Osteopathic Studies program.
During this time she has also assisted well known founding osteopaths in Australia as course coordinator, arranging international and national speakers to come together and present osteopathic courses to qualified osteopaths and osteopathic students.
As a keen educator, Sharni has created and presented multiple courses supporting osteopaths, osteopathic students and remedial massage therapists based on the latest evidence based clinical practice and research.
Sharni is passionate about helping people move and feel better and offering clients a better understanding of what is happening in their body so they can be the best version of themselves. This passion is clearly partnered by her passion for business and very much evident in the company she has helped build.
Sharni loves supporting the beautiful practitioners and reception staff of Northern Rivers Health to provide exceptional healthcare, through mentoring staff and clinical support. She is also rewarded by spending time educating patients and discussing how the Northern Rivers Health team can help.
